Privacy policy

This policy explains, in plain words, what information the shop collects, why, and what you can ask for. It complies with Quebec’s Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector and with federal law.

What we collect, and why

For an order: your name, your email, your shipping address and, if needed, your phone number. They are used only to prepare, deliver and follow up on your order. For the newsletter: your email, if you tick the box or sign up yourself. We collect no other information and we never sell it.

What we never see

Your card number. Payment is made on Square’s secure page, which only sends us confirmation of the payment.

Cookies

The site uses no tracking, advertising or analytics cookies. Your cart is kept in your browser, on your device, and is not sent to us until you check out. If you choose a language with the FR / EN button, a single cookie remembers that choice for one year; it contains nothing else.

Who we share your information with

Only with the services needed for your order: Square (payment), Canada Post (shipping), Mailchimp (newsletter, if you sign up), our web host and our database. Some of these services store information outside Quebec. We assessed these transfers before using them, as the law requires. When a product description is shown in English, its text is translated by Microsoft’s machine translation service; no personal information is ever sent to it.

How long we keep it

Order information is kept for six years, the period required for accounting records, then deleted. Your email stays on the newsletter list as long as you are subscribed. You can unsubscribe at any time, through the link at the bottom of each newsletter or by replying “unsubscribe” to any of our emails.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct or delete your information, or withdraw your consent. Write to the person in charge below; we answer within 30 days.
